yes it is true... with the history of all temp engineering.. it is better 2 have service from them and NOT the manufactor..
Thermotron.. taught mith (th bitch) kerr and john dane.. that it is easy to be called a FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER.
it didn't matter if all u could go was change solinoid's.. or maybe condensor fan motors.. or a big job like changing a compressor..
or the easy jobs.. changing the floot valve in a humidy system.. or even easer .. a wet bulb sock...
MARK LAMERS .. would tell new hires... "Gee when R you leaving ?" don't U know that Good People don't work 4 Thermotron 2 long !

Perhaps .. this is why Daniel J Okeefe .CEO. didn't allow Mitch Kerr.. to Transition from a Field service engineer..
to a Field service Sales...Man..
I was there .. when mitch Kerr asked Danny boy.. if there was opportunity 4 him at thermotron..
AND 4 MITCH KERR...... there was no more opportunity @!!!!
Mitch wanted to replace Bill Sloniker.. who moved to the Seattle sales office..
and the guy they rep0laced him with .. was .. a inexperienced .. pety thief.. who lasted about a year.. and he said he only embezzled about a $100.00 dollars a week..
but.. nothing was being sold.. to conpensate his sales expenses.
ANYWAYY..
Mitch Kerr.. Got mad.. and Took a job at ENSECO where he could make UNION SCALE..
which was about 2x the salary at thermotron..(john dane was allready there)
Thomas Bannach .. a stand in for Bob wiley/thomas patterson.. and the former guy west coast manager.. mitch knows his name..
Thermotron offered Mitch Kerr 0.25/hr twenty five cents more an hour,,
mitch said.. NO --THANK..S... 2 Uuuuu..and said he told Thomas Bannach he was going to make more money then ... HIM..!!
